The colours are laid down with UV print on the strip and the elements are sealed with a clear protective UV coating — it gives the gloss, lifts the contrast and takes the daily wear instead of the letters, while the white field stays smooth and matte. The matte-to-gloss contrast shows itself at an angle and can be felt with a fingertip. Sun, car washes, revs to the red line — the print takes them all without fading.
